Bringing Catholic Values to Life

Antonio Alvarado Earns Richard Tobin Award

Antonio Alvarado of Arlington Heights, Illinois, won a Richard Tobin Award from COF! He chose the Hispanic Ministry of St. Raymond in Mt. Prospect and RCCH in Maywood to split the monetary donation associated with award. He chose RCCH, a movement within the Catholic Church, because it "has transformed people's lives with the help of the gifts from the Holy Spirit," he said. The money will be used to help with the organization's radio program.

Catholic Order of Foresters’ top 20 agents earned Richard Tobin Benevolence Awards, worth $500 each, in 2016. COF donates the money to the church, school or community organization of each agent’s choice. These awards are made possible through COF’s Welfare and Relief Fund. The late High Chief Ranger Richard Tobin established this fund to allocate money for fraternal good.
